FET Yesterday...Embryo Concerns
After my July cycle ended up being canceled we finally made it transfer...had a 3 day FET yesterday. We transferred 3 embryos...1 @ 5 cell - grade AB, 1 @ 4 cell - grade AB and 1 @ 5 cell - grade BC. I was a little disappointed in the number of cells, but the embryologist said that the top two looked great and within normal growth limits and that frozen embryos grow at a little slower rate than fresh. They had originally been frozen as 2pns. I asked the doctor if she would let me transfer 3 instead of the 2 that they only wanted to and she agreed. The third one wasn't as good of quality, but I felt better transferring 3 instead of just 2. Now we are in the 2ww. Hoping that the Neupogen Dr. B put me on, does the trick in keeping this pregnancy if indeed I do get pregnant. I just wish that I would have had better embryos to work with. Anyone know anyone that has gotten pregnant with 4 and 5 cells?

From the threads I've read people have had success with what was considered their "worst" embryo and I can tell you personally that we had an extremely high quality embryo on our last IVF and it turned out to be a blighted ovum so you just don't know. If it made it to transfer then you definitely have hope

It's true that you just don't know! I had 5 grade A quality perfect expanding blasts. With PGD, we found out only 2 of them were genetically normal!
