FET- Question
Hey ladies, question about FET...
When its time for a transfer do they thaw out all your left over embies? I have 5 - 5 day embies and will be putting back two for my FET cycle. Are they thawing out all 5 or just the 2 that will be transfered?

i *think* they only thaw the ones they are going to transfer, but i am not sure

I "think" it depends on how they are frozen. Like if all five are frozen together or 2 in each, etc.

I just went through an FET with the same amount frozen. My embies were in 3 straws (2/2/1). I signed a release telling them to thaw the first straw and if that was unsuccesful to go to the others until we had 2. Make sense? My first straw thawed succesfully but my FET failed. We're transferring the remaining 3 mid-month!

They will only thaw how many they will put back. At least that's how my RE handles it.
