FET?
When you are ready for an FET how does the whole thing work? Do you make an appt and they just 'fit you in' so to speak?
Do you have to go when you're ovulating? Is there a alot of monitoring like when you were stimming, etc?

Re: FET?
An FET I found to be A LOT less stressful. If you dont ovulate on your own, you are given meds to thicken your lining after you get AF and go for a CD 3 monitoring. After that I would say I was only monitored twice until my lining was good and then we set a transfer date (transfer dates CAN be a little more flexible than a fresh cycle but it depends on your body and embryos... i was able to push mine a day later) . Your transfer date is based on if you had 3day embies or blastocysts. I was still on my meds (*pills) no stimming obviously but still on progesterone and lovenox ( for me at least) injectibles...
Youll find it to be a breeze after youve gone through a fresh cycle!!!
Good luck! Please feel free to FM me if you have any more questions!!

Re: FET?
Hey there - how are you doing?,
You would need to call Cornell in advance and let them know you want to do the FET. There is a separate department for FET's. Naomi is the head of that. Call your RE first and tell them you want to do it. Then they'll tell you to call her to schedule it. She'll talk to you about what your options are natural FET (really easy and no shots but only for those who have normal cycles, which I think you do) or medicated FET. Its really really easy. Good luck.
