FET - next step

Although I know I have to wait a few months our next step will be a FET - looking to the future steps actually makes this whole thing a lot easier for me -

Can you please let me know what to expect? I think I will be doing it naturally - no meds - is this usually recommended?

Also how many did you put back? And what was the outcome?

I had put back 2 3day embryos - do they recommend the same or do they let them go to 5 days???

I know everyone's experiences are different just curious -

TIA

Re: FET - next step

First of all....it is soooooooooo much easier.

I took Estrace 2x/3x a day for about 10-14 days until my lining was around 8mm. Then I did PIO injections for three days. In the midst of the three days of PIO injections, I went in for the transfer. Then I started progesterone suppositories. Because of my age, amount of frozen embies and lack of success, we were putting in six embies at a time. Then, you take progesterone suppositories for two weeks until beta, if beta is positive keep doing progesterone - if it's negative, stop progesterone and wait for AF.

I got PG on my last FET....it's so much less invasive and physically/mentally draining.

yes much easier, my first FET I was taking estrace and PIO, I got PG but sadly it was a chemical.

Second time, I never got to transfer. I was on the estrace again but fery unusually for me started bleeding while I was on it.

I did a mock natural cycle (no drugs) amd everything looked perfect.

When I am ready for my next FET it will be a natural cycle.

Re: FET - next step

Did a FET , and it is not as stressful emotionally or physically. I only had to go in once a week for blood and sonos, and took estrace and PIO shots.
I put 2 back and now have 15 month old twin boysChat Icon
