Ferber moms...
@ what point do you say...my child is just up early today...
Meaning this:
Ryan usually wakes between 5-6am (which works out great considering thats when I start getting us ready for work) This morning he woke @ 4....I went in after 5min, then 10min, then gave up... He had shots yesterday, so this could have something to do w/ it..
Anyways... he was never screaming...but just whiny and not letting up....for me...getting him back to bed for 45min wasnt worth it....but 4/430 is too early...I dont wanna ruin all our progress, but at what point do you say..."he's just up early this morning????"

Re: Ferber moms...
Jake does that when he goes to bed too late or when he took a long nap too close to bedtime. This morning he got up at 5am instead of the usual 6am but it was because he had taken a big poop. For me, anything over an hour is more than "just up early today" and I leave him alone. It's very rare but it has happened where he's gotten up at around 4:30am...I ignore him and sure enough he goes back to sleep within minutes.
ETA: I also think he was up early because of the shots.

How old is your baby? I think the shots have something to do with it. I know how HARD it is, trust me. I have 3 kids and they all can be a little out of whack at times. So your little guy might just be acting up based on the shot or perhaps he just felt a little more energetic today! lol I would check it out the next few days and if the problem persists, then do something about it.. =)

Re: Ferber moms...
It's a struggle at first to determine when I should really go in and pick her up or just let her fuss to sleep. There are times that she'll wake up at 4 or 5am and it looks like she's up for the day, so I take her out of the crib, but if I see her yawn or start rubbing her eyes, I put her right back in.
