feeling nervous

I am 19 weeks (just starting my 19th week) and I feel like I dont look like I am showing as much I would I should be, I went to the dr. a week and half ago, baby is growing great. I have my level 2 on Wednesday. How did you guys grow and when did you feel like you popped? I feel like a 19 weeks, I should have more of a baby bump.

Re: feeling nervous

There is no set time for when a bump should appear. Everyone is different. As long as the baby is growing then I would not worry. I am a fluffier woman so when my bump was obvious was a little later, i just looked chubbier. At 19 weeks you couldn't really tell if I was PG or just gaining weight.

Re: feeling nervous

Dont worry! each woman is different and each pregnancy is different. Some people gain a lot right away and show early; others don't show until much later. I popped around 16 weeks. I had gained a lot and very quickly in the beginning. It slowed down in the third trimester and now my belly has been roughly the same size for 5 weeks. I think because I popped so early the belly growth is slowing down.

As long as the doctor is not concerned, neither should you be!! You just may pop later.

Don't stress! I literally had not gained a single pound, rather had been down quite a bit by 19 weeks. I didn't even look the slightest bit pregnant. I did not pop until 26/27 weeks. As long as the baby is looking good you are fine!
