Feeling A Bit Nervous
I am on day 11 of my LUPRON...prior to that was on BCP's. It says in my fertility packet from East Coast that I should see a period come on between day 10 and 12 of LUPRON. Being I am one day away from that range (day 11 ) I am getting nervous. Would there be any reason why it would not come?
I start stimming and going in on Thursday, (Jan 3).

PS. I've read all of the fears about the Progesterone shot...but before that, when I do the HCG shot (Noveral), I see that is intramuscular too. Does this one hurt?

I sometimes did not get AF right away on Lupron. And my HCG injection was never IM (even though it said so on the package)

Hummmm..really? Now I don't remember what the IVF nurse said about it. Maybe she did say JUST the progesterone shot was intramuscular. But then why does the box for the HCG (Novaral) say so? Any other opinions from you girls..please. I will ask though when I go in to begin my stim on Thursday.

I never got a full blwon period, just some spotting which my RE said was ok.
Just the PIO is intramuscular..I never did an HCG that was intramuscular.
If you are unsure of anything, just call the office and ask to speak with the IVF coordinator

I have no experience with Lupron, but I always get my hcg triggers IM by the nurse at the RE office. They don't hurt at all.

I got some spotting on Lupron...not full blown AF. And the intramuscular shot didn't hurt at all
