Feeding schedules for 9/10 month olds?

Just like to see get ideas on what everyone elses little guys/girls are at with eating? Kyle's schedule is kinda like this (we are down to 3 bottles/day)

Wake up 8/9am-8oz bottle
10am breakfast: 6tbls oatmeal, stage 2 jar fruit and then some table food (mini pancakes w/ butter or scrambled eggs)

Noonish-lunch jar veggie/fruit dices or some pasta and a cooked veggie

3pm-8oz bottle

5pm dinner-rice cereal mixed with a veggie and some table food again-shredded chicken, meatball, pasta. Or a stage 2 jar of meat/fruit/veggie combo

8pm-8oz bottle and bed

My son is 10 months. He's not doing well with textured foods, so our schedule is probably not the norm. I am trying to make him his own food rather than use stage 2, though sometimes he rejects it (like tonight, the slightly lumpy sweet potatoes were not for him).

Anyway here it is--he also has 4 6 oz. bottles throughout the day.

Morning
Cereal (oats or barley usually) and fruit

Lunch
Yogurt or Meat
VEggie

Dinner
Meat again, veggie or fruit, sometimes a little cereal again

Throughout the day I try giving him small foods to snack on like puffs, shreeded fruit or veggies, or cheerios, though not much is happening with them yet. I am encouraged though--he still gags on the textured foods, but a little less and there has been no vomiting lately. All good!

DS is 10 months tomorrow.

He takes about 4-5 6oz bottles a day.
Here is his schedule

7am - bottle
11am - 4tbsp cereal, 1/2 a banana cut up, bottle (about 30 minutes later)

2pm - lunch, pastina, carrots and meatballs, or a stage 3 "dinner" or 1/2 of a gerber graduates microwaveable meal

5pm - bottle (we sometimes skip this bottle and jsut have a snack)

6:30 - Dinner which is generally whatever we are having, if its a tough meat then I shred it in the FP if not than I just cut into small pieces. If its something he can't have (like tacos or some fish) then he gets 1/2 a gerber grad meal. and then a stage 2 fruit

8pm - bottle followed by bed at 9.

DS loves texture and chewing so if its too soft or mushy he swats it away. So besides fruit and the occassional veggie of baby food, we are on all table foods.

DS also snacks all day, so if I am eating somethign he will have some or I will make him a mini pancake and dip it in fruit for him, puffs and crackers he eats all day long, as well as cut of fruit esp at my ILs who always have LOTs of fruit for all the kiddies!

Re: Feeding schedules for 9/10 month olds?

DD is 9.5 months

this is her day most of the time:

7am 5-6oz bottle
7:30am- cereal (just pour it in so I dont really know how much)

12- 5oz bottle and 1 small jar baby food

3:304- 5oz bottle (IF she drinks it all)
1 small jar baby food

6- cereal (same as above)
7- 5oz bottle (we have been lucky if she drinks an ounce of this lately but its what she used to drink)

we also sometimes give her some table food and she gets snacks like cheerios and what not during the day.

Re: Feeding schedules for 9/10 month olds?

Thanks everyone-Kyle has been showing a lack of interest in formula lately but a huge increase in table foods and I wanted to see if it was normal around this time-he is still getting at least 20-24 oz of formula/day though.
This am we went to the diner and he wolfed down a huge regular sized pancake and his oatmeal and some fruit dices-more than I can eat-lol!

I was just wondering the same thing...so im glad you were asking! im lucky if I get DD to finish a bottle lately..I know she needs to drink more formula still but we are struggling! she loves her solids...and i think if she could eat cheerios all day every day she would!

This sounds very normal. I'm actually a little concerned that my son just wants to stick with the stage 2 purees, and doesn't show a lot of interest in what we are eating. Most kids his age I've seen are eating puffs, cheerios, etc.

I'm having feeding issues with DD- it's a hit or miss with her.

7:30- 5 oz milk
9- 2 tbsp cereal with jarred fruit and some fresh fruit cut up

11:30- 5 oz milk
1- jarred veggies, sometimes cereal w fruit

3:30- 5 oz milk
6- jarred or fresh veggies, 2 tbsp cereal (if she'll eat it)

7:30- 4-5 oz milk before bedtime

She'll eat some fresh fruits and puffs throughout the day

She doesn't like jarred meat or when I cook chicken.
