Feeding Schedule 1 Year Old?
By 1 I tried to have more of an adult schedule with meals at their normal times. Also by solids do you mean regular table food meals??
We did: 6am - milk & breakfast 9am - snack Noon - milk & lunch 3pm - water & snack 6pm - milk & dinner
I never nursed/gave bottle at bedtime, but if I did I might reduce some milk during the day to give at night bottle.

No, by solids I mean the puréed stage 2... I know we are behind :( our dd throws a lot of her food on the floor and hates stage 3 food right now. For snacks- we can do stuff like cheeses, Cheerios and that kind of food she likes at the moment... I'm slowly trying to get her there but it's frustrating bc she can't get it off of her high chair fast enough

Feeding Schedule 1 Year Old?
At a year we were on 3 meals a day and bottles were milk so it was only 2 - 3 x a day.
My ds threw his food but that is all part of the learning. You have to just deal with the mess and clean after.

Re: Feeding Schedule 1 Year Old?
Our schedule for our 1 year old:
6:30- breastfeed 7:30- fruit (whole blueberries, cut strawberries, sliced mango, etc) and cereal (Cheerios, Kix,) 9:30- yogurt or cottage cheese 12:00- lunch (pasta, eggs, or poultry WITH a stage 2 vegetable pouch. 2:00- stage 2 vegetable pouch with oatmeal or little yum and cheese. Sometimes some puffs, Sometimes I give in and breastfeed. 5:00- dinner. (Pasta, poultry, sometimes breakfast for dinner, pork, whatever we eat, but she doesn't quite love beef) and vegetables (fresh peas, or spinach) 6:30 breastfeed
Fresh cold water at all meals.
I am trying to get to a BF 2x a day schedule, but she doesn't like milk. She will not drink any milk from a cup or bottle, so sometimes I throw in another BF session. I am also trying to incorporate more fresh vegetables into her diet, but I am finding it a bit difficult. DD is 12 months and was 18lbs 10oz at her last dr appointment.

Re: Feeding Schedule 1 Year Old?
This is ours pretty much but it's very flexible:
wake up 6:30am, Bottle breakfast 9:30am bottle 11:30am lunch 2pm bottle 5pm dinner 7pm bottle 9pm. Go to sleep.
He eats whatever we are eating but also the jars because he still likes them & it's convenient & I know he's getting enough vegetables & protein (since he doesn't seem to like most table foods that are veggies & protein). He gets 4 six-ounce bottles a day, I know that's a lot but it's been hard to get him down from that, also he still loves the bottle despite my efforts to get him to drink from a cup.

Thank u!! So you guys dont give solids (stage 2) like 10 mins after a bottle feeding? That's normally what I've been doing... should I be giving the stage 2 about an hour AFTER her bottle?

Re: Feeding Schedule 1 Year Old?
Wake Up 7:30a - Bottle Breakfast - 9:30a Bottle - Noon Lunch - 2:30p Dinner - 5:30p Bottle - 7:30p
This is pretty rough, esp the noon bottle and lunch which are heavily affected by naps and being out, etc. I give snacks throughout the day too depending on if I feel she's eaten enough or wants something. I too am struggling with table foods and still giving purées. My DD also doesn't like certain textures, such as meat, so she never ate the stage 3 jars.

Feeding Schedule 1 Year Old?
my son is 13 months and we do:
7:30--Breakfast: Milk (sippy) and usually pancakes or waffles, fruit and egg or cheese 11:30--Lunch: Milk and usually a meat or protein, veg and carb 5:30--Dinner: Milk and pretty much same variation of lunch
We try to feed him what we eat if we can so often he'll have our leftovers from the night before. He also has 2 snacks a day, mid morning and mid afternoon, and drinks water all day in his sippy. He's on all table food with the exception of pouches that I use for snacks and yogurt. He wakes up around 6am and goes to bed by 6:46/7pm.
ETA: at our one year visit my DS was still getting one bottle a day and 2 sippy's with milk. our ped said that by 15 months she wanted him completely done with bottles (i know all peds differ on this). i didn't plan to cut out the bottle so quickly but it just became easier to give him his milk with meals in the sippy cup.

My DS is 11 months and my ped wants him off bottles by 12 months. Im going to start to phase out the morning and afternoon bottles first...and then do the nighttime bottle around 14 months. I still dont want to give that one up :( My schedule is the same as yours. Do you give snacks in between these meals -- like cheese stick, or yogurt, applesauce?

Feeding Schedule 1 Year Old?
Quick question, when you say your ped wants your child off bottles, does that mean switch to sippy or don't give any scheduled milk? My ped just told me that 16-20 oz of milk was normal and that I shouldn't give more milk if DD is not eating.
DD has a loose schedule. It's something like this:
(Anytime btwn 6:30 to 7:30) Wake up and nurse An hour later - eat breakfast, sippy with water She usually gets a bottle of 5-6 oz milk around 10 Sometimes she takes a morning nap around 10, sometimes she doesn't go down until 11:30. That nap is 1-2 hours. When she wakes up she eats lunch, so that can be anywhere btwn 11:30-2:00 depending on that nap. She also gets her sippy with water at lunch. Depending on how early the nap/lunch was she might eat a snack in the afternoon. She might not. Again, depending on the mrng nap, she may or may not take an afternoon nap. I try not to let her nap later than 4:00 p.m. because then she won't go to bed until afer 9. She'll get another 5-6 oz bottle of milk late afternoon around 3-4 p.m I'm home by 4:30 so I give her dinner every night around 5:30-6 And then I nurse her before she falls asleep for the night usually between 7:30-8 p.m.
So total she gets 2 bottles, 2 nursing sessions and 3 full meals.

Re: Feeding Schedule 1 Year Old?
My son gets up and has a bottle (milk) and shortly thereafter he gets breakfast.
Then some snacks and some juice or water. (a nap usually follows)
Then he has lunch with a sippy cup of milk.
Then he has a small snack and a bottle (milk). (a nap usually follows)
After his nap he usually has a snack and some juice or nothing at all and then dinner.
He has his last bottle of milk (not a full bottle) either with dinner or right before bed.

I don't see any need to rush a child off a bottle as long as they're not sitting with it in their mouth for an hour 4x a day. It was their source of food and comfort for the past year, and I don't see anything wrong with a slow weaning. They'll eventually move on at their own pace

i did the same thing....first i replaced the afternoon bottle with a sippy, then the morning bottle, then the night bottle. my plan was to keep the night bottle but one night we got home super late and it was way past bedtime and we were giving dinner and just gave him a sippy of milk with dinner. he didn't seem bothered by it so i just kept doing it.
he DEFINITELY gets snacks. lol. my kid loves food so we do snacks in the morning and afternoon. for snacks i often do applesauce or a pouch or cheese and fruit. in the afternoon i give him goldfish or cheerios. i also make sure he has his water sippy wherever we go so he drinks enough water.
good luck! we actually tossed all of his bottles this weekend and it was a little sad. they grow up too too fast!

Congrats on doing the bottle toss! Must feel very bittersweet. I feel like the bottle is one of the last things we can hold onto that make them feel like a "baby" :)

Re: Feeding Schedule 1 Year Old?
My son is 17 months but he's had the same schedule since he was a few months old. The only thing that changed at around a year was all table food and no bottles.
He dropped bottles completely by a year and was on only milk by 11 months and all table food. He had very little interest in baby food after a while. I had/have him on the same eating schedule as us. In between meals he has water sippys.
Wakes Up at 6:30-7am
7am - Bfast - Usually pancakes, cheese, and fruit with a milk sippy
Naps 9:30 to 11:30/12
Noon - Lunch - leftovers from dinner OR cream cheese and jelly sandwich cut up small OR pasta. He will eat anything I have in the house. I always give him a fruit with his meals too and a milk sippy.
Around 3:00 - Snack - Oatmeal and fruit OR pretzels and fruit OR cheese and fruit
5:30 - Dinner (as a family) He eats whatever I'm serving for dinner.
6:30 - Bed (for the night)

Thank u!! So you guys dont give solids (stage 2) like 10 mins after a bottle feeding? That's normally what I've been doing... should I be giving the stage 2 about an hour AFTER her bottle?
At a year you should be well past Stage 2 foods.
I also never gave solids that quickly after a bottle. When my kids were on baby food, I would wait AT LEAST an hour before giving them any type of solids. It's too much in their belly all at once otherwise.
At this age you should try getting your LO on a more "adult" schedule in terms of eating. Bfast, lunch, and dinner when you would normally eat with snacks and bottles as needed in between.
Looking at your schedule I would switch around the last two meals. Give solids only at 6pm, try introducing some table foods in addition to the baby food and then give a bottle only right before bed. This way the solids and milk/formula are spaced out and you don't put your LO down overstuffed at night.
