feeding question-
sorry for all my questions tonite, but i finally have a few minutes to be on the computer!
If you are feeding your child say 5 ounces and when the bottle is done, they cry for more, do you add more to the bottle? My ds has cried wanting more and i'll always pour maybe another 2 ounces in his bottle and he'll drink what he wants out of it. If i am giving him 5-6 ounces each feeding should i just leave it at that and hold off giving him more until his next feeding? Some days he is fine with the bottle, sometimes it seems like he wants more

Re: feeding question-
I add 2 ounces if DS seems like he wants more (like only if he goes hysterical when the bottle is done).

Re: feeding question-
both my kids were big and gaining too quickly - so we would not add if we were using a bottle - we would just stick the pacifier in.

Re: feeding question-
This happens to me as well! I try not to...I just burp him and try to get his attention onto something else...I feed him appx. 5 oz every 3-3.5 hours and when I give him formula, he takes appx. 6 oz and that lasts him for about 4-5 hours...he is gaining weight just fine (actually he weighs 17 lbs. at 3.5 months).
