Feeding baby hard boiled eggs

My ped said to try hard boiled eggs (obviously chopped finely) with my 8 month old twins. 3 days of white, then 3 days of yolk. I was under the impression that eggs were a no/no? She also said to try pastina. Do I chop it up even smaller?

All Ped are different,

Mine told us go right for the entire egg at 9 months. Made DS a scrambled egg and he loved it.

At 8 months my doctor told me to try the yolk first than the whites. Go figure. I haven't tried it yet...I was thinking tomorrow

I know and I hate how they differ so much! She said to try the egg bc lots of foods have eggs in them. This way I will know if they are allergic to them? Makes sense but I dont know.

I am more inclined to make a scrambled egg than a hb one for some reason. What did you use to make it though on the pan? Butter, oil, spray?

My ped said no eggs till 1 - both white and yolk. I didnt listen. I had already been giving DD stuff with eggs in them and also used eggs to make her meatballs etc. At 10 months, I decided to just go for it - gave her a little scrambled yolk only and she loved it. I increased the amount of egg I would give her for a few days until I was comfortable she was fine with them. It was her first word lol. I still scramble them with a little ham in them. I use a little pam.
