Feeding a 1 year old
How did you switch to milk? sippy cups?
was it cold turkey or did you switch one bottle at at a time? Did you switch from bottles and formula at the same time?
DD is 11 months now and I'm anxious about changing things up next month. She likes her formula warm - did you warm the milk for a while to help LO adjust?
She will drink from a sippy cup a little - we give her about 2 ounces of water a day but she is pretty messy with it.
She has only gotten teeth in the last month - 2 on the bottom and top 2 are just breaking in. She seems to like the finger foods (soft carrots, puffs, cheerios). What are other finger foods you served at this age or stage?

How did you switch to milk? sippy cups? nope. switched with bottles.
was it cold turkey or did you switch one bottle at at a time? Did you switch from bottles and formula at the same time? ped has us do 1/4 milk to 3/4 formula for 4 days, then half and half, then a 3/4 to 1 /4 until she was finally on milk.
my dd still will not take cold milk. we are going on 14 months and she still needs it warmed up.
she will sip from the sippy throughout the day but never drinks more than half of a sippy a day. thats why we haven't changed from bottles yet, because she won't drink anything then. she gets 3 8 oz bottles of milk per day. doesnt' always finish though.
dd has been on all table food since 12 months. they can eat anything we eat now. HTH

Re: Feeding a 1 year old
Dd is milk allergic so we haven't done the conversion yet.
But in regards to food, she pretty much gets whatever we eat for dinner, just cut up smaller (and sometimes cooked softer). She also just has the 2 bottom teeth! Here are some of her faves:
Pork tenderloin Chicken (grilled, roasted, poached) Chicken soup (I take out most of the liquid) Lentil soup thickened w/rice Butternut squash soup w/ spinach Pancakes Dr. Praegers spinach or broccoli patties Baked sweet potato "fries" Eggs: scrambled, frittata with veggies or hash browns Pastina Shrimp Cheerios, Rice Krispies (we use coconut or almond milk) Bananas
Hope this helps!

Feeding a 1 year old
I did 1/2 and 1/2 in the bottle until 2 weeks ago, then straight milk. The conversion to sippy cups took awhile, but we're there now.
I cook lots of scrambled eggs with cheese, grilled cheese sandwiches, soft chicken shredded up, meatloaf, meatballs, pasta, veggies, waffles, pancakes, and bananas, apples or mangoes, strawberries etc. I cut them into chunks and they pick them up themselves. We also still feed them veggies and other meats or pastina with a spoon. I am trying to teach them how to use a spoon but it's hard when they gag themselves with it.
