FD & PD won't do car seats anymore
so i just called my local FD & PD and neither do the car seat installations...
they said for liability purposes, because they have been sued after accidents, ppl going after the precinct, etc...
does anyone know of places that still do? I live in Ronkonkoma, the 6th precinct and Ronk FD don't do it

It's a little out of the way, but Hassell Autobody on 109 in west babylon installs monday - friday 8am-4pm. they are installing mine.

I just went to Hassell yesterday and they were wonderful! I highly recommend just taking the ride out to West Babylon.

Go on the website of whatever hospital you are delivering on. Most hospitals have a car seat check on a monthly basis. They usually have it posted on the website.

He works for Nassau county.. Dept of child safety (or something like that). He's in Hicksville. He installed ours and was very knowledgable.

my mom went there to have a car seat installed in her car for DD. I believe you don't need an appt, and they were very helpful to her.
