Filled them up with finds from the Dollar store, Target's dollar section and Michael's dollar section.

for the kids we did simple princess bubbles (princess theme party!) and for everyone, cookie pops that were decorated with crowns!

Glad you asked this b/c we are getting this all ready too...so far I have a drawing pad and pack of crayons....I am only doing favors for the kids..just trying to cut corners. Maybe adding bubbles is a good idea...

You can find really cute kids books at Target or the dollar store for a $1. Box of crayons, coloring books, lollipops, animal crackers from oriental trading these are delicious: animal snackers
Stickers, temporary tattoos, lollipops, bubbles, welches fruit snacks, pepperidge farm fish snacks...

I made CDs with all of Jack's favorite songs for all of the younger kids. Everyone loved them! The older kids got a bag of little toys from the Target dollar section. I didn't give anything to the adults.

I used brown paper lunch bags, cut shorter with fancy scissors, folded over with a "thank you for coming to Nolan's 1st Birthday party" tag, to hold bubbles with a custom wrap/tag over the label, a kazoo and a punch balloon.
Very simple, very affordable and they were a big hit! DS loves to play with his punch balloon (supervised of course). A few of his friends have learned and have been playing their kazoos (DS started doing it a month or two before his b'day so I knew I wanted to do those) and who doesn't need extra bubbles!?

the bubbles I bought at the store...target i think and i made the cookie pops...they were so easy!! (sugar cookie dough with lollipop sticks, we did round ones using a glass covered in colored sugar!)
