Re: favorite vegas hotel?
Been many times and never stayed at a hotel that I flat out really didn't like...I've stayed at Mandalay Bay, the Palms, Treasure Island, Bellagio, NY NY, Mirage, Caesar's Palace, & The Venetian, and The Palazzo. eta: and the Bellagio
My FAVES are the Palms & The Palazzo. Next time I wanna try the Cosmopolitan.

Re: favorite vegas hotel?
I've stayed at the Hilton, Rio, Excalibur, Luxor and Planet Hollywood.
Out of all of them, I loved the Rio, even though it was off strip. I was there in the fall and didn't hit the pool so I can't give you advice on that.
I really enjoyed the Luxor pool. It wasn't too much of a party crowd when I went which was at the end of April last year. It was just perfect.
Planet Hollywood was okay. Can't say that it would be the first place on my list to stay the next time I go back.

I loved the MGM, but didn't get to hit up their pool since it was February.

Re: favorite vegas hotel?
I stayed at the Mirage twice and enjoyed both stays. The rooms are spacious and it's pretty central on the strip. The pool area is nice but people line up at the crack of dawn to get a good chair. It was the weirdest thing to participate in and the funniest thing to watch from the window.
I didn't think the pool area was filled with young people. Although they did have an adult only pool section that had an admittance fee. I think it was $10 for women and $30 for men.

Isn't that all sorts of wrong?! How can it be fair that we pay less? Not that I MIND, but my DH might.

Tops were optional for the girls so the boys got more of a show.
