favorite trashy romance?
I have an addiction to trashy romance novels. Not 50 Shades-style stuff. I'm usually a Nora Roberts fan: semi-mindless romance with a few hot scenes mixed in. Any suggestions for similar authors?

If you like Nora Robert's trilogies and quartets (like The Bride Quartet, Chesapeake Bay series, etc.), you may also like Susan Mallery. She writes contemporary romances with some hotter scenes, but it doesn't veer into the erotica category (like a 50 Shades of Gray or Crossfire).
Susan Mallery has several trilogies and series that involve families or communities -- there was one series about sisters who own a vineyard in Northern California, there is one about sisters who own a bakery, and one about siblings who are in the restaurant industry, etc. She also has the Fool's Gold series about a quirky town in California.

Robyn Carr is another great author of romance books that are similar to Susan Mallery and Nora Roberts.

Suzanne Brockmann's "Troubleshooters" series and her "Tall Dark & Dangerous" series - love them!
Elizabeth Lowell is another favorite - especially the Donovan Family Series: Amber Beach, Jade Island, Midnight in Ruby Bayou and Pearl Cove.

LOVED this series! So much better than 50 shades! It was written by an author who actually speaks English!

If you like more Nora Roberts style, and not 50 shades style, you might really like Linda Howard. More story than sex scenes.
Also check out JD Robb (Nora Roberts pen name) and her In Death series

Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover was really good. So was Collide and Pulse, both by Gail McHugh. I love the Crossfire Series but the last book was really disappointing.
