I use Fresh Direct every week. I've used Pea Pod in the past and to me FD is much better.
They are more $$ but the quality of the meats, produce, bakery items and their own meals are so much better than Pea Pod.

This! They also offer so many more free delivery opportunities. Peapod has better sales but FD has better quality.

I used to use Peapod, but stopped because they didn't have so many things, that I had to go to the store anyway (which defeats the purpose of doing it in the first place).
I just ordered for the 1st time from Fresh Direct for Saturday delivery, so I'll update with what I think of them then.

I've done Shoprite from home, and picked up my groceries (you pull up and they bring them to your car). This is the only service I've used, but I had nothing but great experiences. If they were out of an item, they called me to see if I wanted to substitute. And they take all your coupons too.

I use Waldbaums.com for home delivery. I've also used Peapod, but prefer Waldbaums because they call me when something is out of stock and offer a substitution. Peapod will just substitute without asking.

I put other because I only have access to peapod. Fresh direct and shop rite don't do my area. I have no real complaints about it

Yes. I think it's $10. They sometimes have deals. And my bill is usually cheaper bc I stick to my list and don't have those impulse add-ons that happen when you actually shop in the supermarket .

I always used Peapod, then I stopped because they started being out of stock of really average items...I couldn't get soap, ground turkey, tomato paste...
I feel like there's no point in ordering if I have to go to the store anyway. I tried contacting customer service, and they said they would get back to me.... they never did.

I got my 1st Fresh Direct delivery on Saturday and I am really happy with them, so far. They had everything in stock and the delivery man was so nice and helpful.
I hope it stays like this because I would love to keep ordering from them and avoid grocery stores altogether.
