Re: fastest way to heat up breast milk
Do you pump before leaving? Expressed BM is good for up to 6 hours at room temperature. If you pump before going it wouldn't take long to heat up.

currently microwave a cup of water and submerge the bottle.... I think i'm going to leave them in storage bags which may be thinner and more surface area. Someone at work said to leave it in a bottle warmer but i think they turn off after some time. ( I also work over 16hours so i wish I could leave fresh milk)

Re: fastest way to heat up breast milk
Heat water in micro glass dish for 2 minutes. Submerge milk storage bag for 1 min - works so fast to heat the bag vs bottle!!!

Do you have a Keurig? Run a cup of hot water from it and stick the bottle in it to warm up.

Re: fastest way to heat up breast milk
If its coming from the fridge fresh then you can take it out and leave it on the counter. It will take serval hours for it to even hit room temp. We did this and at 5 hours it was still cold. If its frozen do the same because it will take even longer to hit room temp If its fresh it can stay out for 7 hours As per my lactation consultant
I used to take out the first bottle right before I left and put it on the counter. I would leave the other one in the fridge and it would get taken out after he was fed the first.
