Fancy dinner suggestions?
So DH had to travel on my birthday so his company said that he should take me out to a fancy dinner, on them. Where do you go for a fancy dinner anywhere between Islip and Nassau Coliseum (we're seeing the Star Wars concert after dinner because DH is a huge geek).
I've thought of Teller's, Morton's, Ruth's Chris, and Nico in Bay Shore, all possibilities but eh... Any other thoughts, especially non-steakhouse options?

Waterzooi in Garden City is very nice and not too far from the Coliseum.

I am a HUGE fan of them, but if someone else is paying, I'd go somewhere nicer. Ruth Chris from what I hear is $$$

The wine cellar at the Carltun is awesome if you like wine or champagne or sparkling wine. Go on the carltun's website and look for the wine cellar. We go there for our bdays and other special occasions.

I agree.. I LOOOVE Waterzooi but I don't think of it as a fancier night out.
Okay.. nevermind FatFish.. they are closed for the season.
Maybe do Nu at the Hyatt in Hauppauge?
