Family getaway in Florida...NOT Disney
Looking for a resort that is family friendly, our 2 kids will be 2.5 and 5 months. We will probably go sometime in September. 4 nights/5 days. We would like a nice pool area, maybe even a kids water area, children's activities for my older son, good food, nice beach. On our list of potential places-
Club Med Sandpiper Bay
Hyatt Key West Resort & Spa
Mariott- Marco Island
South Seas Island Resort- Captivia Island

We've been to the Club Med Sandpiper twice and had a great experience. Its a great vacation with small kids.

Marriott Harbor Beach
DH and I have been here twice and can't wait to go back with our little ones. Recently renovated and has a great kids club (so it seems). Beautiful private beach, amazing spa, helpful staff. I can't say enough about how much we love it.
The Marriott family vacations here for a week every year because it is one of their favorite Marriott Resorts.

I've been to Key West and although nice, I find it to be more of an adult place than a kid place.
I've heard great things about Sandpiper though - my coworker has gone there 2x with his two kids.
