Fall footwear, other than sneakers, for boys with wide feet?

DS is 2, and I already picked these up on sale @ Stride Rite in the next size:


and my Mom bought him these in either black or navy, i don't remember.


But what would he wear with pants like these, for example? (with a waffle knit shirt, or a hoodie, etc)


I'm lucky, he's not fussy with clothes or shoes and he'll wear whatever I put on him, but I have no idea what goes!

I do sneakers 99% of the time--I just think they're more comfy and better for running, and I'd do them with those pants. On most regular days, Will lived in fleece pants last winter. But i do love those chukka boots--are they in wide?

I tend to buy a pair of casual sneakers and a pair of nicer ones that DS can wear with khakis, etc. I usually buy something like this:

Both my boys wear sneakers pretty much all the time--I have those pants from last year and he wore sneakers with them, they looked fine.
