Fall Foliage and Photos-- Opinions Needed

So, I am doing DD's 2 year old/holiday photos this month and am planning to have them taken outdoosr.. Here is my dilemma..

I can either have them taken this week/next week when I think the foliage will still be nice and the weather still tolerable and I will have more time to get holiday cards printed OR I can have them taken Thanksgiving week when DH Is off from work and can be a part of the photos too..

Id love for him to be part of the photos but Im afraid the photos wont be as nice outdoors so late in the month and wont give me much time to order holiday cards in time (though Im sure I can get them done).

What would you do?

Do you prefer a card with family photos or a card with just your kid(s)?

Do you have nice family photos where if you did decide to do them now you have plenty of family photos in general.

I did mine today in this gorgeous weather with my dh because we dont have any nice fam photos since my dd christening almosy a yearago

I think youll still get some great photos even that week actually. The leaves are still beautiful colors and you can get some great playing un the leaves shots.
