fall flowers??

anything I can plant for the fall so there will be some color in my garden. I already have mums... anything else?

i do have daisys planted but they never fully bloomed. are montauk daisies different from reg ones?

I took this picture last October and bought these flowers because I loved them so much, they are Andrea Atkinson Japanese Anemone:



Mine just started blooming 2 weeks ago. They're not bushy and full yet but I read that they drop their seeds and you'll have much more next year. I put them next to my Black Eyed Susans and Purple Coneflowers which are still blooming, and will until first frost:





They are also good self-seeders. No reason you can't plant them now that it's getting cooler.

Those are really the only flowers I know that stay blooming till late fall.
