Fall Festival?
Or anything that offers fall goodies like cider, candy apples, pies, and cider donuts (donuts are most important here).......anything like that around? I am not going apple/pumpkin/any kind of picking, I just want the junk food. I just re-read that and I sound like such a lazy oinker

Re: Fall Festival?
I go to the apple farms & just don't pickthe apples!
We used ot go to Wilkins in Westchester & they have a little shop with bags of apples for their orchards, and they sell cider, donuts, crafts, pumpkin carving kits, etc. So mostly I shop!
Nursery is like that too, but not sure if they have donuts(they just mention "other treats")- haven't been in years.

Fall Festival?
Hanks pumkintown out on the south fork has goodies like donuts, cider, kettle corn,,and some other fresh baked items. I'm not sure if they have pies though, I don't remember seeing them.

Re: Fall Festival?
I highly recommend hitting up some of the places in the Hudson Valley.
Not a terrible ride (rec a Sat over a Sunday for return traffic) and I don't think they rip you off at all.
Haven't been in years but last time I went to WPF I remember the cost of their pies and such to be ridiculous.
You could also make a day of it and do the outlets. Or the wineries.
A good place to go is Soons because it usually does not get insanely crowded with LIers like the Warwick area does.
Slate Hill Orchards is another place if you are just looking for good donuts and no crowd. They also sell pies.
