failed my 1 hour
I was at 140 I'm just so bummed bc i had been dreading the test since the moment i peed on a stick. I was miraculously able to keep the drink down for the test but on my way home i threw up and was about 5 different shades of green. I don't know how I will be able to get through the 3 hour

If you want to skip the 3 hour test you can discuss keeping blood sugar logs for a few weeks with your OB. Usually you have to track your blood sugar level four times a day.

I failed my 1-hour and refused the 3-hour. My OB sent me to a high-risk doctor, and I had to prick my finger four times a day. I did it for about three weeks, and I was cleared yesterday. I don't have GD and no longer need to monitor. I am so happy I elected to monitor myself rather than drink that nasty drink again.
