Failed 1 hour GTT
Results came back at 169. I didn't fast for the test, so I am hoping that is the culprit, but I have been concerned that I may have GD before the test anyway. I have a family hx of diabetes, and everyone keeps telling me how huge I am for how far along I am. I weighed 102 before I stared stims. Now, at 27 wks, I weigh around 128. I am not eating excessively, and actually think I'm eating exactly as I was pre-pregnancy.
Has anyone failed the 1 hour and then passed the 3 hour? I'm looking for a little hope.

With my DD I failed the 1 hr and passed the 3 hour. I took the test in the evening and ate normally. This pregnancy I passed the 1 hr and I took the test first thing in the morning. I don't know if time of day has anything to do with it...but I convinced myself it did.

I failed the 1 hour and passed the 3 hour! I did fast for the 1 hour and even though my weight gain has been great this pregnancy I thought because of my family history that I would definitely fail the 3 hour but I didn't. Hopefully you also pass it! Good luck!

Yes with my first pregnancy I failed one hour and past 3. With this one I failed both. Many people fail te 1 hour and don't have gd.

Failed 1 hour GTT
I failed the 1 hour and passed the 3 hour. I fast for both of them. I also thought i had GD based on my weight gain (I'm about 34 weeks now, and up 40+ pounds!)

The 1 hour test is not a fasting test so that shouldn't be the reason you failed. Your body should be able to handle the food you ate, as well as the glucose drink. Hopefully you pass the 3 hour test, but otherwise, it's better to be monitored and keep GD under control.

I failed the 1 hour with a 170. I take the 3 hour on Nov 29 :/

I failed the 1 hr. my number was higher than yours. and i passed the 3hr.
