Factor VIII Question Posting for a friend..
I have a friend that lives in Georgia that just got diagnosed with MTHFR and factor VIII
HER Hematolgost dismissed her bc he says he can't do anything for her ( she is allergic to heparin). Just told he to take a baby aspirin
She's not pregnant but has had two miscarriages
Does anyone have any info I can pass on to her?

What about lovenox. They are both thinners but not the same.

What kind of heparin allergy? Like a rash? I got severe itching and rashes(until I bled!) from heparin but was still able to take it with Benadryl. Can she try Lovenox? It is slightly different and she may not be allergic. I had no reaction from Lovenox. She should see an infertility specialist. It may not necessarily be those factors that are causing the mc.
