Facebook question...what can someone "see" about your profile if you send them a message? (but you aren't linked as "friends")
I received a friend request from a "former" friend. We didn't exactly leave off on the best of terms.
I would be willing to send her a message back, but don't really want to add her as a friend at this point. (Until/unless we can clear the air first).
So, if I reply to her friend request with a message, will she be able to see my photos, etc?

You can create a new friend group and limit the access she has to your info through your privacy settings.

she will only be able to see your default profile pic and info. she shouldnt have access to your other photos or wall comments, status messages, friends, etc. if you are set to private

Oh, that's cool. Ok, I created a "dummy" new friend group to experiment and am fiddling with the privacy settings tab...but am having trouble finding how to set different levels of privacy for different groups.
I basically have all of my privacy settings set to "only friends" so that should do the trick in general, then, right?
