face makeup
Hi, I have a gift card to Macys and I am bridesmaid in a few weeks so I want to buy really good face makeup. I think for my wedding I used MAC. Lately I just use covergirl. Someone suggested bare minerals? I want something thats not liquid, not very powdery, something inbetween liquid and powder (unless I am wrong?-You tell me!) and something with staying power! Any suggestions?

I dont think they sell this @ macys but i recommend Makeup Forever HD. They sell it in Sephora, its amazing.
Its full coverage and stays ALL day. It is made for brides, photo/videos

i'm a clinique girl, too! love their "perfectly real" foundation. its a liquid, but its really light and doesn't feel "cake-y" or anything. it lasts all day, too.
i always buy it when they have their "free gift" things- so i end up getting lots of eye shadows, and blushes, and mascaras, and little things of lotion.. all of their stuff has been great.
the other day, i bought a sample set of Bare Minerals new face wash and lotion- and they gave me a little sample of the powder make-up. i liked it, but i just didn't feel like it gave me enough "coverage". especially if you're gonna be in wedding pictures, you might want a little more.

I started using Erase Paste by benefit. For the past two months everyone has been telling me I am glowing. My face looks fantastic.

I use MAC Studio Tech - it's a creme based foundation that you use a brush for. Great coverage without being cakey.

If you don't want a creme...try Hello Flawless (it is a powder) by Benefit, sold at Sephora, Ulta, or at any benefit counter. Great coverage if you need, but can be applied lightly as well.

If your the kinda person who never usually wears makeup then I wouldnt get this for everyday use, but for a special occasion its great cause you dont have to worry about your makeup melting/sweating off.
Its considered mediuim to heavy coverage, its liquid.
