Description:

Clear Channel Long Island's WALK 97.5 is looking to fill an entry level full-time position of Sales Assistant. Candidates will be responsible for assisting sales staff in daily support functions. He/She will create and update reports in Excel and Word, prepare PowerPoint Media presentations for the department, and interact with clients via phone.

Qualifications:
- Experience in an office environment, with general business knowledge of office procedures, including filing, writing business letters and organizational skills.
- Experience in creating business presentations and proposals a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with good grammar and spelling.
- Experience in advertising sales with a media/marketing company or radio station preferred.
- Strong computer skills with thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint are an absolute must with the desire to learn new (industry-specific) computer programs.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision, performing a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Position requires the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Should be capable of interacting with many different personalities. Attention to detail is critical.
