Decided to stop waxing and tweeze myself because they never come out that great for some reason. Realized my brows have gotten sparser so I need a good powder and/or pencil. I prefer something I get get at CVS as I don't want to break the bank.

Thanks!

Re: Eyebrow powder/pencil recs

Personally I use NYX brow powder and it works great for me.
And it's cheap and widely available at the drugstore or target.

Re: Eyebrow powder/pencil recs

It's allllll about a thin slanted brush for application. Try nyx brand at cvs. But honestly Mac single eyeshadow and brush is cheaper and they can color match ur Brows. Had a single color for 4 years now at 13 bucks

I use this one (maybe not the same color?) from maybeline:

http://www.target.com/p/maybelline-eye-studio-brow-define-and-fill-duo/-/A-17243422?ref=tgt_adv_XS000000&AFID=google_pla_df&CPNG=PLA_Health%2BBeauty%2BShopping&adgroup=SC_Health%2BBeauty&LID=700000001170770pgs&network=g&device=t&location=9004382&gclid=CLzz-YGchMwCFUYehgodOF8D-g&gclsrc=aw.ds

I get so many compliments on my eyebrows!

I nearly bought this- I like the few NYX items I've used before. But I wanted to see what the reviews were. Thanks!

Thanks for the recommendations ladies!

What's the white stuff?

It's like a brow wax- I guess to tame them? I don't use it though.

And the powder doesn't come off?

I wonder if it helps set the powder.

I think I'm going to give this a try.

Thanks!

It lasts pretty much all day on me. Not sure what the wax is for- if it's for use before or after- but I never tried it so I don't know

Love this. I used to use a Benefit one similar to this and this is way better and a quarter of the price.

I have a similar kit from Too Faced & they say to use the powder after to tame brows & lock the powder in, but some people put wax on first to give the powder something to stick too.
I usually just use a pencil- Anastasia Brow Wiz is my favorite, but NYX makes one very similar(Micro Brow pencil)--I thin i just didn't get the right color for me, which is why I prefer the Anastasia one.

NYX also makes a clear wax crayon that you can use if you prefer to use an eye shadow.

I use Anastasia Brow Wiz to fill in bare spots then I use a colored gel to set the shape and darken them a bit - L'Oreal Brow Plumper - LINK
