Eye Issue - Anyone's Children have this??
Hey all..
Kevin for the past few days has been getting eye buggies that were a lot thicker then normal and green in his left eye. This morning when he woke up there was dry buggies all around his eye and he seemed to be having issues opening his eye. It was much better when i took a cotton ball and rubbed the crap away with warm water and he does not seem to be in pain with it.
His eye is not pink either....I am going to call the doctor when he opens...just wondering if anyones DC had something like this.
And i don't think it's a clogged tear duct because when he cries tears come from that eye.

It sounds like conjunctivitis...its doesnt have to be pink LOL! But thats what it sounds like

DD had this issue for WEEKS as a newborn. Some days were worse than others....the Dr said to just keep using a warm wet cottonball.
I would call if they continue to be green.

DS had the same thing. My ped gave me a clear lotion to put on his eye lid and eye and it went away within a few days.

DD had this for about 2-3 months adn then it finally went away one day - clogged tear duct - and the dr just said to keep wiping thme away with a warm cottonball and also to massage the inner corner of the eye a little each day.

Thanks for all your help ladies.
Just called the doctor and they told me the same thing. They said if it does not clear up in a few days to bring him in so they can take a look at it. She said sometimes these things can lead to pink eye.

Mallory had that for the first few months it was a clogged tear duct.. later on though it's turned out to be a sign of ear infections.

Bryan had that alot in the beggining I cleaned in everyday with cotton- it was a clogged tear duct
