Experience with Braxton Hicks...sorry for crashing
Sorry for crashing but I figured I would get more answers on this board then the pregnancy board since all of you delivered already.
I have been getting Braxton Hicks since about 28 weeks. Not that often but they were there. Recently the past couple of weeks I have noticed I get them more often. I was in L&D 2 weeks ago with false labor. They don't really hurt that much, just the tightening and hardness of my belly and then relaxed. I'm drinking water so much that I live in the bathroom and I rest as much as possible. I'm not worried about them but was just wondering if you had a lot of Braxton Hicks (a couple have even woken me up at night) did you notice that you went into labor earlier then your due date, right on time, or still late?
I'm just curious to see what everyone's experience was. I've been saying that I was going to go early since the beginning of my pregnancy and just curious to see if I'm probably right.
I will be 34 weeks this Friday.

i had BH most of my pregnancy. it was never that uncomfortable, just knew they were always there. i went into labor almost a week before my due date. good luck!

I had a ton of BH when I was pregnant with my Dd and I had her 16 days early. I'm now 25 weeks pregnant and only have them occasionally. The only thing that helped me was to drink a ton of water and lie down/rest.

I had them a lot; i went to the hospital at 27 weeks to be monitored for them even. I was having them all the time but no more than the 4 and hour. At 36 weeks I would time them and they were sometimes 7-8 minutes apart. I ended up going into Labor at 37 weeks!

I had them constantly from 24 weeks on. I would tell my doctor and he said if they don't hurt then don't worry. Towards the end I was able to time them some days. I swore I was going to go early bc of them. DS was born the day before my due date!

Same for me. I had them constantly from wks 37 - 40. I was induced at 40+3

I had lots of them and did dilate early but I still had to have pitocin to get things moving along. DD was born at 39 weeks (I was walking around 4cm dilated for days) and DS at 38 weeks (I was 5cm dilated but no real contractions). I only actually felt the BH with my second pregnancy with DS. With DD I only knew I was having tons of them becuase they were picked up on the monitor at my routine NST. I always wonder when I would have started having "real" contractions, although my BH had to be at least somewhat real since they were changing my cervix.

I had BHs a lot early on in my pregnancy, starting around 19 weeks, I think. They stopped towards the middle/end of my pregnancy, and I had DS 10 days early.

Had a lot of BH with DS2, and delivered 4 days late. None that I noticed with DS1, and he was 5 days early. Who knows????

I had them all the time, from early on, I want to say 18 weeks or so. With both kids. My first child was only like 10 days early. My second was a month early

I had them from say 30 weeks on and I made it to my c section date at 38 weeks
