Exersaucer- Rec

Does anyone had any thoughts on the exercauser re: whether they are safe?

If you have one did you find it a "must have"?

Can you recommend yours?

Thanks!

Re: Exersaucer- Rec

We have this one:

http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3420756

I love it because it converted to an activity table for when the kids are older. My boys are 14 mo and still use it!

ETA: forgot to answer your questions...

It is a must have IMO. My kids LOVED it. As far as I know, they are safe (obviously u can't leave the baby unattended in it).

We have the same one but no experience with it yet. My friend has it for her DS and he loves it!

I haven't used mine yet obviously, but I have read in my baby books that especially when baby is younger the exersaucer/jumper/walker should not be used more than 30 mins a day because it can interfere with development or something. I would just be mindful of not keeping them in there too long.

Good luck!!!

Re: Exersaucer- Rec

If I were trapped on a secluded island with a baby and only allowed to bring five items, the exersaucer would be on the list. I don't think the brand matters. I have a Baby Einstein one for my house and a Bright Starts one at my parents. DD loves them both. They're safe (just don't leave the baby in there all day every day, b/c like the previous poster mentioned, you can have too much of a good thing. But for 20 minutes or so, it's fine). I can park it in the kitchen or bathroom and it'll keep DD busy while I'm cooking dinner or showering. It's awesome. Chat Icon
