Re: Excel file to pdf?

it can be done - you just need to have a pdf writer installed. If you already have one, you should be able to select it as the printer you want to use.

It will "print to a pdf", thus creating a pdf file.

(if you don't have one, there are sites you can download for free)

Re: Excel file to pdf?

Does that mean I print it out as a pdf? There is no way to make it into a pdf so I can email it or is that what you are telling me to do above?

I don't think you can download Adobe Writer (unless it's a trial version), that's software that you have to pay for.

you can definitely convert spreadsheets into pdf. I've done it many times.

with the version I use at work, on the toolbar it says "convert to PDF". with the previous version, I would have to print and then select Adobe Acrobat as the print driver to create the pdf.

hope that helps.

it doesn't actually PRINT a hardcopy, it creates a pdf file.

go to your print box, and view your printers - do you have any that say pdf?

Re: Excel file to pdf?

I have the full version of Adobe Acrobat and I can write any type of file to a PDF. You print to the Acrobat distiller. Let me know if you still need help, maybe I can do it for you. Everyone else gave you great info.
