Everyone and everything is irritating me
I also think I am in the wrong profession for the next 4 months!!!
The icing on the cake was I just received an email from my P/T employer that they are not paying me for work completed until NOVEMBER!!! I am sure it's an error but I, um, kinda went off..........
I also HUNG UP on someone at work today who was pissing me off. (Granted she was screaming and yelling at me for things beyond mine or anyone's control and I DID warn her that I was going to hang up if she didn't stop screaming)......

I am right there with you. I am begining to hate all people - in person or over the phone. Try to relax - take a sick day or two if you have to just to get away from it even if it is only for a bit. t is definately worth your sanity!

yeah, I had a moment today in the university garage. I entered as I usually do and went right. there's a small blind spot, but all traffic can only run one way.
Well, a woman with a kid (presumably a prospective student) was in reverse trying to catch a spot she passed. I stopped, but apparently, she thought I was either going too fast or not giving her enough room? I don't even know. at any rate, she honked, yelled at me, and called me an @ss wipe... I kid you not.
Hey, I'm not the one going the wrong way on a one way isle through a blind spot lady... those are your charming skills.
(also nice to call faculty an @ss wipe while trying to get kiddo into a school  Nothing like charming the natives to move ahead!)

WOW!! You'd think in the helping profession you'd encounter people with kinder hearts. I am a social worker too and I couldn't imagine my co-workers treating me the way you describe. At my former job I had co-workers and supervisors like that. I left that place after 9 months b/c it was starting to affect my mental and physical health.
