Everhome Mortgage
I know this is a shot in the dark, but does anyone have Everhome Mortgage? My mortgage was recently sold to them and we are having major problems...
If anyone has it and can FM me or respond here, that would be great.

I know  We had gotten behind on our mortgage, but when we switched to them we made three payments and are now all caught up. They have not posted any of the payments (my bank says they were delivered) and I'm terrified. We are supposed to go away on vacation and, reading some of the comments and stories online, I'm scared that we are going to come back to a foreclosed house. I don't know what to do.

UGH I am sorry you're dealing with this. I really hope that you can work out the issues with them.
Who was your original lender...it seems like small mortgage companies are the ones who have been selling to Everhome.

I was reading a complaint website and it seems they are some sort of predatory lender? They used to be known as First Alliance, but were fined and put out business, only reopen under Everhome in a different state.

Well this is scary. I havent had any problems with them so far...but only had them for a few months. Sigh!

Well this is scary. I havent had any problems with them so far...but only had them for a few months. Sigh!
From the complaints it appears that if you pay ontime without issue, they don't come after you. If you're late or try to do a loan mod or something they basically forclose. That's only based on the complaints the website I have, I truthfully have no knowledge of this bank or their practices but I would be leery of dealing with them from what I read. And it absolutely stinks that mortgages get bought and sold without any regard to the owner.
