Ever feel out of breath?
I am only 14 weeks but I noticed tonight I was a little out of breath. Maybe it is the baby growing and pushing everything up? Anyone get like this?

heck yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
totally normal - as your 'insides' are pushed upwards - there is less and less room for your lungs to expand...

Re: Ever feel out of breath?
ALL DAY LONG. It's so bad I cannot walk an aisle in a store!
I asked my Dr...although I did remember having this with my son really early on.
He said in the beginning starting at around 8 weeks, your blood supply increases 50% to accomodate the new baby ( or in my fun case , 100% for two...) and the increase blood puts a slight strain on your heart making you breathless....but even bad cases are really not harmful or a reason to be worried and as your body gets used to the extar blood the heart will start to adjust and you will feel better....
And then just when that happens The baby gets bigger and your breathless from that

Re: Ever feel out of breath?
Yes!! One moment I'm fine and the next I get up or walk up the steps and have to take a break just from doing that. Worst is after I eat. I try not to even eat too much in one meal b/c I get sooo full and can't breathe.
All the fun parts of being pregnant!

Re: Ever feel out of breath?
All the time! I am winded doing pretty much anything. Going up stairs is killer for me. I'm only 17 weeks and I can't imagine how much worse this is going to get!

Re: Ever feel out of breath?
ALL the time, when I walk more then 100 feet! I thought it was allergies or weight , but I am glad to see that I am not the only one who is breathless from walking not too far !

once the baby 'drops' - it'll get better! My SIL said around 36 weeks or so - she could breathe again!

Re: Ever feel out of breath?
It's common because of the increase in hormones.
