Evening LH surge and IUI

If you get a surge in the evening, around 8pm, when are you usually told to come in for IUI?

At my RE, it means that you go in the next morning (dropoff is at 8am) then they do the washing and you come back at 10 for IUI. You don't need to call!

Mine will only accept a morning positive opk. So that means if its negative this morning-even if i get a positive tonight, it woulnd't count until tomorrows positive opk so Id come in the next day following the first morning positive opk.
does that make sense?

**edited to add that the reason they do that is if your first positive opk at night and are testing multiple times a day that means you're catching the verry begining of your surge. if you go in for an iui the next morning, it might be too early becuase you'll O 12-36 hrs after your first postiive opk.
if thats when you go and you're not doing b2b iuis, make sure you after the iui

when i trigger and have a iui net day they tell me to trigger as late as possible before i go to bed
