It's not red and there is no mucus. Should I be concerned here.

I would just wipe it with a warm wash cloth. If it gets goopy call the doctor.
Wipe it from the inner corner out. It might be clogged tear duct.

monitor it... i had thatwith a blur... 3 days later goop, pink eye
but it could just be irritation
