That is why I took my taxes out my mortgage. I pay them on my own and don't have to worry about that anymore.

I think this will happen to me...but I was told there is a way to monitor your balance so you dont fall below a certain amount....?

That's just because the taxes and insurance go up every year. Our property taxes have increased about $500 every year and I blame a good percentage of that on the cushy public service jobs that pay so much in vacation / sick days, pensions, health insurance, etc. That and duplication of services! We have a gorgeous, huge new library less than a mile away. They are building a new, big, expensive library a mile away in the other direction - why? Because they are in two different school districts  Seems like they could easily combine them and save a lot of money for everyone in the area.
