Seriously-
I asked my mom if she could watch Ryan at my house tomorrow- since he is sick... and I really do not want to have to wake him up- and drag him out of the house @ 6:30am
She said she cant because of her dog
Seriously mom- if you worked (just like many people do) You would leave the dog home all day- and he would be fine....
She has no problem going shopping all day and leaving the dog home...
I really cant take off another day considering I stay home today- and already have off on Friday, to do stuff for his party-
Im so f'in aggravated....

Im seriously screw ed for a babysitter tomorrow...
Im taking advantage of her- for wanting her to watch my son at my house...
The kid has strep- I just want him to be healthy for Sat. and be home- in his house- in his Pj- and on his meds for 48hrs. before I take him out anywhere- is that unreasonable?
I even arranged it so- she could come for any 4 hrs that she wishes... BUT I just have to make it into the office for those 4hrs...
Sometimes using family as daycare- is so much harder than just using a center....

Oh, that is so not right. If I knew you I'd offer to watch her for you! I know how hard it is to find a sitter in general, so it must be really frustrating.
ETA: I meant watch HIM not HER!

That does s u c k having to take him out. I understand not wanting to take him out. I take my kids to my moms when they're sick too.
I wouldn't be angry with her. At least she's watching him.

Just thought I add that last night, my dad said since he didnt have to be in work til late- he could take care of the dog- so she could be here...
So she agreed...
Im now supposed to be at work in 3 mins.(and I live 20-30min away) she is not here- actually she is still home- doing what- I have no clue....
So her whole arguement on the dog was a load of cr@p- because she is not even here- and my dad is taking care of the dog...
Im so screwed- and no one is answering the phone @ work- which makes me think- that the other administrator- thinks Im opening

Yes she did @ 8:15- but luckily I got intouch with work- and let them know I would be coming in later-
It all worked out in the end- I just wish we couldve skipped the part where my mom was being a royal PITA
