ER - Day 2 update on Embie count!
So I just got my first update. Of the 26 eggs they retrieved yesterday, 13 of them fertilized.
Is this a good number/percentage? Please send good growth vibes my way - I hope we make it to a transfer!!
Day 2 Update
All 13 made it to Day 2, but of course some look better than others. They have me down for a Day 3 transfer tomorrow, but it might get pushed to Day 5. I need to call tomorrow morning and get the update.

YAY - i think that is great!!!
you should be very happy. Some were probably not mature yet which is why they didnt fertilize.
Any update on if you will get to move forward to transfer???

The nurse said the same thing re: number, that a lot of the eggs were probably not mature.
Right now I think they believe I will be able to move forward with a transfer, but of course it all depends on the embies.
And I'm super bloated and (same as you!) constipated  Don't know what to do about it, but am trying to drink tons of water.

I had 27 eggs and 13 fertilized and I got my DD that cycle with a 5 day transfer and 3 to freeze 
Ironically, my RE had me limit my water intake to 1.5 liters per day when I was at risk for the OHSS and monitor my outake but all RE offices seem to do things differently

I have been drinking water like it is going out of style & hasnt been helping. Just making me pee alot. Im too nervous to take anything, i havent even had a sip of caffeine. Hopefully it will pass, but right now i hear ya, my tummy looks like im 4 months prego & does not feel good

After I read your first post I called the office to double check. The nurse said that I did need to keep hydrated, but shouldn't just drink a lot of water. She said that electrolytes were key.
I talked to a few of my runner friends and they recommended coconut water. I just need to focus on keeping hydrated, but not increasing my fluid intake too much.

sounds great!!
when i was at risk for OHSS (not from IVF, from an ovulation induction cycle that i hyperstimmed), i drank a TON of water. i was just so thirsty all the time and so bloated. drinking all the water and being bloated were not a good combination!! good luck!!!

I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think they make the decision about which embies to freeze until Day 5.
Still concerned about all this bloat and the OHSS - I hope I'm allowed to do a transfer!!
