Eosinophilic Esophagitis
Does anyone have this? If so, how do you manage it? Was your esophagus dilated? If so, did that help? My son chokes on his food a lot in the past year or so, and it gets stuck, and we end up in the ER. Not sure if it's behavioral and him not chewing it properly (he has autism, and mouth issues). OR if it's something medical. He is scheduled for an endoscopy soon to see if he has this, and if so, they will stretch his esophagus during the endoscopy. I was reading that PPI's are usually given for this condition, and I'm not really crazy about him being on medicine like that for the rest of his life.

Re: Eosinophilic Esophagitis
I know of someone who has this and his gastro prescribed him an inhaler to use.
