Environmental Mold & Health Problems

Has anyone ever been diagnosed with health issues due to either mold or some other irritant iat work or at home?

My doc is running out of possible causes for the reason why I am constantly sick. He's thinking that it might be an environmental factor because all the CT's and MRI's and X-rays I have gone for have all been normal.

Has anyone ever dealt with something like this???

You can FM if you want....

Thanks.

I'm so sick (no pun intended) of feeling like crap all the time.

Thanks for sharing your experience. SOrry you had to go through that!

I had pneumonia in the spring and since then, I have had relentless sinus problems. I am at the doctor every 2 weeks with some type of ailment.

I'm thinking that it might be something in my classroom - if it was something at home, wouldn's DH be getting sick as well? The man has never sneezed in the 5 years we have been together!

Re: Environmental Mold & Health Problems

PLEASE TO ALL... if you think or know you have even a small mildew or mold problem PLEASE CALL AN INSPECTOR!! if you live where a landlord owns please talk with them ASAP!!!!! THEY MUST BY LAW FIX IT in a timely manner and also replace any lost that you may have ... i just lost my whole life practically to something that by looking inside my kitchen cabinet, on the back wall, under my pillow and just basic little things i could have stopped it or caught it where i might not have to have been where i was.... If you feel you need more info please fm me or if you have any questions!! it is not joke.. a little can mean a whole lot!!!!Chat Icon

Re: Environmental Mold & Health Problems

they sell mold detection kits at Lowes.

It very well could be mold - your DH might not be as allergic to it as you are.

the same thing happened to a friend - every morning she felt sick - sore throat, etc. - and it turned there was mold in the ceiling

if they do that is great... but they need to get a professional to look at it.... i found out the hard way and it is very sneaky and speads very easy!!!! do not try to do this yourself unless an inspector tell you it's ok to do itChat Icon Chat Icon

its actually very user friendly, it tests air particles, you dont touch mold or anything.

if she thinks there is a mold problem in the house hire an inspecter, absolutely - but if its just a guess - this might be a cheaper solution.
