A friend of mine used an ENT..I assumed it was because of the connection between the drainage to the nasal cavity etc..and my opthamalogist told me to use a ped. ENt..now I'm confused!

I guess if your opthomologist told you to use an ENT then that is what you should do. I thought your pediatrician told you to use an ENT. When DD had the surgery done, her nasal glands had to be slightly moved since they were too close to the internal structure of the tear duct but the opthomologist dealt with all that.
ETA - I had to go to an ENT for DD #2 for a completely different reason and I used Dr Mendelsohn in Garden City and I really liked him

We used an opthamalogist too and used Dr. Barry Pinchoff too. He was great!

I have a 10 month well coming up with my ped..I need to clarify with him.. I assumed that it was an ENT, since my friends DD used one for this procedure...and when I went to get my eyes checked, my doc. mentioned I should use an ENT...however, I def. will go by what my ped. says..I would prefer to use someone out of LIJ...and my doc. usually refers to docs in BK..so thanks for the reccs.
