Engorgement
How to ease it??? I stopped nursing 9 days ago and all of a sudden only 1 side is full and totally uncomfortable. Any tips????

Do you have a pump? Pump or express just the tiniest amount to releive the enorgement... only for 30 seconds... eventually your body will start to understand but you don't want to risk infection in the meantime!

warm compresses, be careful with pumping, because since it is a demand/supply issue you will make more milk for whatever you take out of your body. VERY small amounts express

I put on a tight sports bra for a few days, and pumped for a few seconds just to release some pressure when I felt knots in my breasts. It only took me a couple of days for feel better once I stopped BF.
