ENGINEERS REPORT
Hello:
Just had our offer accepted on a house.
My attorney is scheduling the Engineers report.
How does this work. Is there anything I should do while the engineer is at the house? Taking notes, what questions to ask, etc.
TIA

Re: ENGINEERS REPORT
While our engineer was doing his thing, DH and Iwere talking with the homeowners, taking pictures, following the engineer around and asking him some questions.
The sellers were wonderful - they showed us how various things in the house work, gave us copies of their utility bills, and answered the million and four questions that DH and I had about the house.

Re: ENGINEERS REPORT
Only the REA was there with us with the engineer inspector. We arrived early to talk with the engineer and he told us if he saw anything that concerned him, he would pull us aside to tell us away from the REA.
He was very open with us on what he found, answered all our questions and gave the sign of approval. Some of the concerns he had we made part of the contract for the owner to repair.
