End Table Style File Cabinets (Pics included)
Hey All,
I want to get new living room furniture (minus the couches) this spring. I'm leaning with Target because of the price and style (I personally don't care for dark wood, I like oak)
So, they have file cabinets that are end tables. I think its so practical especially since we're in a condo and don't have a ton of room.
We want to get rid of the giant wall unit, coffee table and current end tables and get a matching set (2 file cabinet end tables, coffee table & tv stand, that hopefully will eventually hold our LCD in time). What do you girls think?
1st pic is coffee table, 2nd pic is file cabinet style end table (wich is same height as a normal end table). 3RD PIC is the tv stand. I know the wood looks different in the pic, but in person (ie yesterday) it looks the same.
Plus, hopefully I could get shelves to match at target. Image Attachment(s):

not a fan of the coffee table or end table but i like the tv stand.
in re: to end table filing cabinet, not sure how practical it would be. i guess it all depends on your lifestyle. i prefer files to be in an area where i review and pay bills (ie the office).

in re: to end table filing cabinet, not sure how practical it would be. i guess it all depends on your lifestyle. i prefer files to be in an area where i review and pay bills (ie the office).
see, we're in a two bedroom condo and hopefully will need the 2nd bedroom for a baby's room in the future. The computer will go in our bedroom with a small desk, but I was looking to condense space. The style of these pieces are totally me (I'm not the brown/black furniture kind of girl). I also tend to like more country style pieces too

It's not my style Kerry, but I love the idea. I think you should go for it. When looking for space saving ideas, I think those end table are a great idea. Suits two needs. And they are just country enough for your style. Great find!
