Empty sac at 5 weeks 3 days

Had our first ultrasound today. Dr told us prior to scan she didn't expect to see much but hoped to see sac. We saw the sac and I am measuring exactly what I though 5 weeks and 3 days (I o'd on 2/8). She schedule our first prenatal prenatal appt for 2 weeks from today.
Should I be concerned? I know it's super super early but was hoping to see a yolk in the sac she did say its very normal at this point and progressing as it should

I'm just a worry wart

Sounds pretty normal to me. By 6w you should have a yolk.

At 5w3d I think there was just a gestational sac(have pic in my album) and the beginning of a yolk sac but you have to tilt on an angle to see. That's completely normal.

I also had an empty sac at 5w 4d. I now have a beautiful healthy 12mo boy. I remember that feeling though. Hang in there.

Thanks everyone for the encouragement! Youve helped put my mind at ease. I figure if my doctor was concerned she would have made me come in earlier than 2 weeks and wouldn't have schedule a full first prenatal appt for that day. She's been monitoring me closely, has been my doctor for 15 years.

I went to the Dr just shy of 6 weeks and we saw an empty sac. 5 days later we saw a flicker of a heartbeat. For both boys. It was a stressful wait though!

With my DS, i went at 5 weeks, and just saw and empty sac, 2 weeks later i went back and there was a HB. Thats totally normal. Hang in there.

At that stage, just a little sac is all you're supposed to be seeing!

at my first appointment I was 5 weeks and we only saw the sac and nothing else I was told to come back a week later and there it was don't worry!!

yep normal to me.. I only saw a sac at exactly 6 weeks.. went back 2 weeks later and I saw everything. they said I was measuring right on target:)

I should've been 7 weeks and had just a sac and small yolk (measuring 5 weeks). Doc said come back in 2 weeks... may be nothing in there or may just be too early. I cried every day for 2 weeks. Came in and bawled my eyes out when they saw a baby and had a heartbeat. Turns out I ovulated 2 weeks late.

I went for an ultrasound for this pregnancy at about 5wks + (I had a previous miscarriage so they saw me pretty early this time around) and all they saw was the sac. I went back about a week and a half later and we were able to the baby and hear/see the heartbeat. I wouldn't worry too much, it's still very early.
